| Tripper is super bright, super affectionate, and is the official canine comic relief in the house. He loves to bring me toys, has the biggest smile and most animated wiggle butt I have ever seen and will do just about anything to make me laugh. His two favorite things are leaping in the air to look me in the face and sneezing on command for a cookie. Tripper loves his big sis Kylie ... they will wrestle and play and chase for hours then he'll cuddle next to her at night. Even at a young age, Tripper had quite a ring presence. He garnered a number of ASCA Best of Breed-Puppy and Best of Opposite-Puppy wins and consistently placed in the large merle puppy classes at the 2006 ASCA Nationals. By the tender age of nine months he was ASCA major-pointed with Best of Opposite Sex wins over ranked specials. He got his first AKC major at one year of age and finished his AKC title with a BOB over specials. As evidenced above, he has a lovely, classic Aussie profile, great structure, beautiful angulation, a balanced side gait and a gorgeous headpiece and expression. Tripper has gone on to finish his owner-handled AKC, ASCA, UKC and International championships, consistently placed in puppy classes in his first ASCA Nationals in 2006, then went on to premier and place 7th in the Conformation Finals at his second ASCA Nationals in 2009. He garnered his first Herding Group placement at the large Land O' Lakes Kennel Club show and is currently working on his GCh in AKC. It's been fun and gratifying to see how much Tripper has accomplished in the conformation ring. We're also in obedience and agility training with the intent of Tripper following his big sister's paw steps in those events. Thank you to the Roeser family of Cattail Ridge Australian Shepherds for letting me adopt this beautiful, happy, fun-loving boy and a huge thank you to my friend Karen MacDonald who has stepped in to show Tripper when my health prevented me from doing so. You have presented him beautifully and I appreciate it. Tripper is currently standing at stud to approved bitches. Please contact me for a stud packet. |
