| Kylie is my first Aussie and is truly my 'heart dog'. People comment that Kylie and I seem to have an extraordinary connection and she's incredibly sensitive to my emotions. She means the world to me, and apparent I to her. She insists on nightly 'mommy and me' time where she climbs up in my lap, lays her head on my legs and lets out a big sigh, as if to indicate everything's now right in her world. She is a wonderful companion, smart as a whip, constantly makes me laugh and she has a portfolio of tricks that she loves to show off to anyone willing to watch. She's a striking bitch with rich color, correct structure and beautiful lines, an effortless, flowing side gait and a soft, intelligent expression. Before bringing Kylie into my life, I knew nothing of conformation or competitive dog obedience or agility. We've come a long way since ... she's an ASCA Altered Champion and has amassed over 150 Altered Best of Breed and Altered Best of Opposite wins to date and she holds agility and obedience titles as well. She also has a successful career as a model for TV, internet, and print ads! I am forever in debt to Paula McDermid of Bainbridge Australian Shepherds for entrusting her to my care.
